Claudia Narvaez
LCPC
I am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am committed to treating individuals and families from all backgrounds. I received my bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University and my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2011. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults experiencing trauma-spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and psychotic disorders. I also have experience working with relationship issues, behavioral issues and crisis intervention. I am fluent in English and Spanish, I am LGBTQIA affirming, and welcome diversity.
As a therapist I believe in empowering clients through the therapeutic experience to foster lasting change outside of the therapy setting. My goal is to help my clients feel secure enough to explore the past, the present and the future.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs.
